In your capacity as representative or contact person of the company or sole proprietorship with which Colex and Colruyt Afrique, part of Colruyt Food Retail established in 1500 Halle, Edingensesteenweg 196, and registered under the company registration number BE0716.663.615 (hereinafter referred to as "we") liaise, we hold personal data about you.

This Privacy Statement informs you about how Colex collects and manages these personal data in the context of business contacts (hereinafter called "Service"), in your capacity as representative or contact person of the company or sole proprietorship, with a view to facilitating our business collaboration.

We attach the greatest importance to the confidentiality of personal data. We therefore strive to protect personal data as well as possible. The way in which we use your personal data respects the rights you have under the rule of law.

Furthermore, we process some of your data in order to send you useful communications in the context of the professional collaboration we have entered into with the company or sole proprietorship of which you are the representative or contact person. Any tax data of the company or sole proprietorship of which you are the representative or contact person that we may request are needed to enable us to organise the professional collaboration.

Sending communications to your attention
We may send you important business communications in the framework of the professional collaboration.
 
We also use your data to tailor the content of the newsletters we send to you by post and to inform you of new business developments, new working methods and benefits that may be of interest to the company or sole proprietorship of which you are the representative or contact person.

Subject to your prior authorisation, we also use your data to send you this information by email.



4. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA?


Colex and Colruyt Afrique are the only parties to have access to your data, which they shall not sell at any time. Furthermore, Colex may call in other parties who also need to have access to (part of) your data. All these parties shall comply with this Privacy Statement and shall under no circumstances use your personal data for purposes other than those described herein.

Customs, airport undertakings, port undertakings and transport companies have access to that part of your personal data that is needed to allow them perform the expected services.

Law firms, debt collection agencies, bailiffs, insurance companies and banks in particular will also have access to that part of your personal data that they require to be able to assist us in handling files, implementing projects, etc.

In some cases, certain Belgian and other (public) authorities have the right to consult or request part of your personal data. We will of course cooperate in such cases.

In any event, Colex will not sell your data at any time.

Your data are stored in Belgium.

In this respect, we are however required to check your identity and will ask you for a copy of the front of your identity card.

You can request an overview of the personal data that we hold in relation to you. You can have incorrect data rectified and have data that are no longer relevant deleted.

You can have your data sent to a third party.

You can ask us not to use your data for direct marketing purposes. To do so, use the unsubscribe option in the marketing email or contact us at the telephone number specified at the bottom of this Privacy Statement.

You can ask us to restrict the use of your personal data or you can object to the use of your personal data.
